Amy Samuel

Mrs. Samuel is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in Music Education. After moving to McKinney in 1992, she spent 5 years teaching elementary music in McKinney ISD, during which time she completed 2 levels of Kodaly training at the University of North Texas. She has taught private voice and piano for over 8 years in the McKinney area. She has coordinated the children's choirs at FBC McKinney since January 2002. She is an active member of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators as well as the Texas Music Educators Association. Mrs. Samuel has coordinated various aspects of the School of the Arts since it enlarged its course and teaching venue in 2002 and has been the Harmony Community Children's Chorus director since it's inception in 2006. She lives in McKinney with her husband and 4 children.
