Kenneth Ussery

 

Kenneth has been a Worship Pastor for over twenty years, serving in churches in both the Dallas and Austin metroplex areas.  His experiences include both choral and instrumental conducting, and he has a heart and passion for leading God's church into an expression of genuine worship.  His wife, Teri, is equally committed and involved in worship leadership, and both play multiple instruments.  Kenneth and Teri have a wonderful family of five children, ranging in ages from twenty to six.  In addition to leading worship, the Usserys have an independent ministry called i3 Ministries, designed to help marriages and families become stronger.  At Friendship Baptist Church in Fairview, Kenneth directs the Sanctuary Choir, and seeks to revive the great hymns and spiritual songs of our faith with excellence and relevance to  community.  Kenneth is thrilled to be part of the School of the Arts and brings with him over 15 years of teaching experience and a love for his students.
